Asmaa is a clinical mental health worker, educator and consultant working in Kitchener Waterloo. Asmaa is specialized in trauma, EMDR, motivational interviewing, addictions and CBT. She has worked in various settings including community treatment, community education, research, consultation and supervision.
Her therapy work has been in group treatments, psychoeducation and individual psychotherapy as well as family support. In addition to her education and knowledge, her life experiences in four different countries has added to her understanding of mental illness and its impact on individuals, families and communities.
Asmaa’s has a unique ability to assess situations from varieties of perspectives to be able to find hope and solutions regardless of complexities, obstacles or difficulties.
